If you’ve come to this site looking for a funeral celebrant, it’s likely that life has changed for you in a big or small way. I’m sorry if you’re hurting or facing challenges right now. Grief can be so very hard. The right funeral service can be powerful and healing, and I’m a firm believer that the process of creating a funeral is as important as the event itself.
I want you to look back on the day and feel proud of the choices you made. With your words and wishes at the heart of everything, the ceremony we create together will be meaningful and personal. If you want it to be uplifting, it can be that too.
Since I stepped on to this amazing path, I have taken services in crematoria, woodlands, village halls, private chapels, in front rooms and on riverbanks. Don’t be afraid to explore what is possible. My approach is gentle and honest. I don’t use platitudes, but I do speak with warmth and passion, and whether you find respite in laughter, tears or silence, I’m with you all the way. Sometimes your relationship with the person who has died is complex, and that’s okay. Together we can work out a way to acknowledge their effect on your life and the world around them. I will never judge you or the person who has died. The funeral that you are planning is important and it is essential that you feel comfortable and confident with your celebrant or minister. There are lots of wonderful people out there, all with different personalities and skills, so check out their websites, make some calls and see who feels right for you and your family. I, for one, would love to listen to your story.
