The George Staples

Located very close to the Eltham Crematorium, The George Staples is highly recommended for funeral wakes in this region.

The George Staples is a handsome situated in the middle of Blackfen High Street. It is served by buses 51 and 132 and has its own pay and display car park to the rear. It offers a large outside space, including covered seating. While we do not have a function room, an appropriate sized area can be cordoned off and a choice of buffet, tea and coffee provided.

Level access can be found to the rear of the pub and a disabled toilet and baby changing are available. If you would like to provide photos, we are able to display a memorial screen in the booked area. Our bar offers a wide range of wines, lagers, ales and spirits, and a tab can be set up in advance with personalised vouchers for guests if required.
