Colchester Golf Club has a long-standing reputation for hosting funeral receptions and wakes, located just a short drive from the Colchester  crematorium, the club has been a trusted choice for many years, offering families a warm, respectful setting in which to gather and honour loved ones.

Our catering services are crafted to meet your needs, offering a variety of buffet menus featuring fresh, authentic British cuisine and an excellent selection of beverages. We are also pleased to tailor menus to accommodate specific preferences, including vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring a personal and memorable experience.

Our Parmenter Room may be hired out for private functions including funeral receptions and wakes.  We also offer free car parking for those attending.

The Parmenter Room has the capacity for up to 80 people for a buffet style reception. Air-conditioned, it also has technology to include a television screen with wifi access, as well as having direct access onto the beautiful terrace overlooking the 1st and 18th holes.
