The Shy Horse

Originally named the Fox and Hounds, this pub restaurant used to be run by the Smith family during the late 19th Century. Although by 1894 it was only the father, William and his son, Arthur who were still running The Shy Horse. Today guests at The Shy Horse enjoy an easily accessible venue with its own gardens.

The Shy Horse, has a long-standing reputation for hosting funeral receptions and wakes, located just a short drive from the Randalls Park and Kingston & Surbiton Crematoriums and Epsom and Ewell cemeteries, the pub has been a trusted choice for many years, offering families a warm, respectful setting in which to gather and honour loved ones.
