I have spent my working professional life in a couple of careers, the first being Law Enforcement, then I left to enter the private sector. Since the mid-nineties, I have built up a couple of successful business. which are still going today, being run with a very experienced team. It is hard to suddenly realise that what is your baby, is all grown up and no longer needs your input. I do still have a hands-on approach, (just can’t seem to let go).
Before joining law Enforcement, I trained & qualified as a Funeral Director, obtaining my Diploma in Funeral Directing. Since the late 80’s I have always been involved in charities causes. Therefore, when I found that my time was being freed up, I still wanted to help others, having worked in the Funeral Profession in the early 1980’s I felt that I would look into being a funeral celebrant.
Having investigated the training packages, I signed up and trained with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. I have now registered with a number of Funeral Directors here in Bristol, and surrounding areas. I have never made a secret of the fact that I am a proud Freemason, I am therefore uniquely placed to assist with families who relatives have masonic backgrounds.
Personally, I have no religious beliefs, as everyone’s god is personal to them. I like to class myself as spiritual rather than following one particularly faith. Therefore, if you wish a semi-religious or non-religious funeral, I am sure I can assist in your needs. I will assist you through your journey in these difficult times.
As for hobbies, these are limited, I teach a form of martial arts, so keeping fit is very important to me, I also enjoy photography, reading and music, especially rock.
I look forward to talking with you.
