The responsibility of a celebrant is to ensure that a ceremony, be it a funeral or a wedding is going to be memorable in the hearts and minds of those present.
I treat every service and ceremony knowing it is a privilege to be doing so, given the trust of a family or a couple to celebrate and honour these special times.
Being able to help people is why I chose to become a celebrant, to use my life skills to assist others. Having the ability to relate to people is important as a celebrant and my work in the arts sector has further me prepared for this role.
Originally hailing from Scotland, I have lived in the Chilterns, Buckinghamshire for over 25 years.
