Angela Boulton

Hello, I’m Angela and I’m an independent funeral celebrant living in Wigan, Lancashire. I conduct funeral services in and around Lancashire and Merseyside.

I love my role as a celebrant and find it a great honour and privilege to be asked to meet with a family and together create a unique, fitting and personal life story for their loved one. Reflecting and celebrating their loved one’s life from beginning until the end. Conducting the ceremony, ‘Their Story’ with dignity and respect. The families final act of love as they say, their final goodbyes.

I’ve worked in public service for over thirty years, from education and most recently GreenAcres Ceremonial Burials in Rainford, Merseyside. In this role I have completed a bereavement and grief training course, which helped me with my own personal losses immensely. I’ve also practised yoga for forty years and taught for 11 years. The discipline has helped me along the way not only physically but mentally through movement, meditation and mindfulness and has also helped others too. I find that my personal yoga practice enables me to be calm, empathetic, non-judgmental, enabling me to support families during their most difficult and saddest of times.

You can be assured of my trustworthiness, confidentiality, professional and ethical standards having been trained by The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. During my time at GreenAcres I have gained an excellent reputation with funeral directors as being thorough and meticulous providing the perfect service for them and their families. You only have one chance to get it right on the day.

I feel it is the most emotionally rewarding and fulfilling role that I have ever done. I love being a celebrant, supporting and serving families and I am here for you.
