At Highfield Hall we understand how difficult it is losing a loved one and we do our very best to support you during a difficult time. We are a very traditional, family run country house hotel, and find mourners appreciate the peaceful surroundings and privacy we provide, along with our dedication to detail and personal touches. Our aim is to ease a difficult time for families and friends having to plan a funeral.

We are ideally located close to the A55 for people travelling and approximately a mile away from the new Flintshire crematorium and have a large free car park for guests to use. We can provide a location to meet prior to a funeral service to enable mourners to travel together and leave cars in our free car park.

If there will be a main service followed by a more intimate burial or cremation, guests not attending the second service are welcome to come to us while they wait for the main family to return

We are very well known for providing excellent food and for our dedicated personal service for family events and have recently been extending this to funerals

We will guide you through the arrangements & discuss menu options, room layout and style and will organize any individual touches that you would like to add, anything from personalised background music to a memory table or a favourite colour scheme.

We offer a choice of rooms for your exclusive use for a period of up to 4 hours along with use of our gardens. Each room can be arranged to suit your exact requirements from smaller groups of up to 20, to larger gatherings of up to 150, and in a style to reflect your wishes.

Whilst a buffet is often the preferred option for a funeral reception as this allows guests to eat while they walk and talk, we appreciate many people prefer an alternative to this and have some other options to choose from. However, please contact us to discuss anything to make the day a personalised tribute to your loved one

We also understand you will want to provide for everybody who has joined you to pay their respects.
We are able to provide additional food if numbers returning exceed your approximation. All we ask is that you advise us in advance there may be additional guests and if extra arrive we will confirm with you and we will take care of the rest. Food allergies and special requests can also be provided for on the day. The Bar will be available throughout.
