The Walnut Tree Inn

The award-winning Walnut Tree Inn in Blisworth is a beautiful, independently-run hotel and restaurant with a choice of stylish function rooms ideal for funeral receptions.

Located just 10 minutes from the Counties crematorium in Northampton, and close to the M1 and A43, the Walnut Tree Inn offers a choice of free private function rooms, free parking and comfortable en-suite bedrooms for guests who require an overnight stay.

For smaller wakes (up to 50 guests) our restaurant is available for private use during the day. While for larger gatherings, our function room along with a private bar can accommodate up to 120 guests and our helpful staff can help plan your event, taking into account any dietary requirements.

The Walnut Tree offers a personal touch: providing flowers on the tables and playing appropriate background music. We have facilities to plug in an MP3 player, iPhone or similar if you want to play some music you may have with a special significance and we offer a projector and screen to enable the inclusion of a slide show.

We have various menu options including high tea and a choice of finger buffet menus. Gluten-free and vegan plates are available on request and we can create further options tailored to your own tastes.

Our function rooms have disabled access and full disabled facilities are available.
