The County Club

So many times we hear the expression, “ well we wanted to give them a good send off”. Sad as these occasions are, the County Club team will do their best to create an environment where family and friends can meet and pay their respects and fondly remember their missed loved ones.

Your guests will arrive and will enter the clubs traditional oak panelled bar area which adjoins our function room that can accommodate anything up to 80 people depending on how the room is laid out. A further room is available for setting up of a buffet should that be required, and we can of course cater accordingly.

Hire of the club includes the following.

Use of the main bars and function room. Max suggested capacity 80. (60 seated for dinner)

Table linen and chair covers (White Table Cloths and black Chair covers. Note- White chair covers can be hired if required)

Use of two further rooms as additional bar space and or for the setting up of buffets. We have also recently had a new outdoor raised decked terrace built at the rear of the club.

Use of ceiling mounted projector and AV system if you want to display photos.

Use of our PA system for playing background music and radio microphone for speeches
If you have never been to the club, please let me know if you would like to come and visit us and have a look around. There is a new internal google tour of the club linked to our website if you haven’t seen that already however that does not show the new outdoor area.

The club is just a 100 meter walk from the city train station and 300 yards from the register office, The Trinity United Reformed Church and the Church of St Albans and St Stephen. We have free on site parking for up to 25 cars and there is a pay and display carpark right out side the club as well.
