If you have suffered a bereavement and are looking for a venue to celebrate the life of your loved one, you will find a discreet welcome at Southern Valley Golf Club.

We can accommodate small intimate gatherings through to larger wakes. Our venue offers air-conditioned facilities with ample parking at a convenient location. Talk to our events team about your catering requirements and any other details. Our team has years of experience in organising funeral receptions and wakes, offering a comprehensive, discreet and sympathetic service to help take some of the strain away.

From a simple buffet to a large wake, or just somewhere private to reflect with family and friends, we endeavour to provide an occasion to ensure that loved ones are remembered with dignity, but without fuss.

Ideal for large wakes, the function room can accommodate 150 guests and has its own private bar. For a more intimate gathering, our bar area can be hired out and is available for up to 50 people. Both rooms have access to the veranda for when the weather is kind.

Southern Valley is conveniently located just up the road from Thamesview Crematorium on Gravesend Road, Shorne.
