Taypark’s mansion house and mature garden grounds provide a genuine sense of peace and seclusion from the outside world. Our location in the city’s West End means you benefit from the ease of access and stress-free transportation that only a city centre hotel can provide, while also benefiting from the tranquility that you can usually only find in country estates.

We have 30 on-site parking spaces available and accommodation, should your guests require it.

The Baronial Manor
Positioned in Dundee’s beautiful West End with views over the river, Taypark House is an elegant Category B listed former Scots Baronial mansion house. Constructed around 1863, the house is set within mature garden grounds and enjoys panoramic views across the Botanical Gardens towards the silvery river Tay and the hills of Fife.

The Billiard Room
The Billiard Room on the first floor of the house features a traditional vaulted ceiling and original oak panelling. This sunlit space is ideal for a gathering of up to 50 guests.

The Drawing Room
We can seat up to 70 guests in our Drawing Room. The room has high ornate ceilings and large south facing windows that flood the space with sunlight.
