‘Organising a wake for a loved one is difficult and we know that nothing can truly help with the pain of your loss. However, we will do our best to help you in any way that we can to ensure that the day (and the booking / planning of the event) will be as stress-free as possible. Here at our family run venue, we strive to provide a warm and professional service that will help your family and guests remember your loved one, rather than worrying about anything else.

So when the time comes for you to say your goodbyes; recognise and to celebrate the life of someone dear to you, allow us to guide you through this difficult time.

Guildford Manor, set within 10 acres of beautiful Surrey Hills parkland, offers a serene setting to remember a loved one. Set within the outskirts of Guildford near the much loved natural beauty spot Newlands Corner, the venue is within close proximity of both Guildford and Woking crematoriums, as well as a number of churches and natural burial grounds (see more information below).

All of our guests benefit from free on-site parking.

The Lytton-Strachey suite, photographed, is an incredibly inviting space with an abundance of natural daylight and views of our splendid grounds. The suite is fully equipped with air conditioning, a private bar and access to a private garden. With a capacity of up to 250 guests, the Lytton is a spacious room well-suited to larger funeral wakes.

Our catering team provide for all budgets and dietary requirements. Our catering options begin from £11.95 per person. Befitting the values of our family-run ethos, all of our food is made onsite and responsibly sourced.

We are located just 3 minutes from Clandon Wood burial ground, 15 minutes from Guildford crematorium, under 20 minutes from both Woking crematorium and Randall’s Park crematorium in Leatherhead.
