Hilary Walshe

Hello, my name is Hilary Walshe and I take a pride in my work as an independent funeral celebrant where each of my ceremonies will be reflecting the individuality of the life of your loved one.

My background is in social care, working with people at all stages of life. I live in Norwich with my husband, and I have two children.

An increasing number of people do not want a funeral which is purely religious, and I offer a bespoke funeral which can be entirely non-religious, or which includes elements of any religion, spirituality or humanism.

No two lives are the same.

Did you know you can have the poetry, music, songs, photos, hymns or prayers of your choice? Many people want a celebration of life, as a memory to the person they have lost. I will listen to you, and include the memories, anecdotes, or tributes you wish, to make the ceremony comforting for you, and as you want it to reflect your loved one’s life.

I will guide you through the process, as I understand how worrying and daunting it can be. And together we can plan the service you wish. Finally I will provide the script for you to keep, beautifully presented.
