Kathleen Collins

Hello, my name is Kathleen Collins and I am trained as a Funeral Celebrant and am a Member of Fellowship of Professional Celebrants.

I live in Downham Market, Norfolk and can travel to be able to include Cambridgeshire within my area of work. I am a young at heart semi-retired married lady and if I had to wear a label my family, friends and colleagues would call me a people person.

To help others, when they are faced with a situation they may not be used to is something I can give my time to and feel privileged to be able to do so. My role is to help them with calm focussed support, listening to their needs and requirements, taking a portion of the load from them and ensuring they have the service they want in whatever format that may be. Times have changed and I am not bound by any convention so the service will be bespoke and delivered with respect. First and foremost, it is the families, not my, service.

My aim is that on the allocated day the family are confident their requests will be honoured and actioned, aware of the part I and they will, or may take, and be ready to face that moment without trepidation or fear.

My role is to liaise with the Funeral Director to be sure that the service flows in a timely manner and they are as aware as I, as to all requirements which may be part of each service I conduct. At all times it is my commitment that the family and the Funeral Director should receive a high quality of delivery reflecting on my and the Funeral Directors good name.
