The main building is bursting with original Tudor features with oak beams in abundance! The lounge is particularly interesting with its ornate ceilings and wood panelled walls.

In the beautiful garden the delicate sound of the fountain in the large ornamental pond provides a gentle background melody as guest sit and discuss the possible origins of the thatched “mushroom” building found at the lower end of the garden.

Our quiet, peaceful venue offers the perfect setting for your post funeral gathering. Our dedicated, experienced team appreciate what a difficult time this can be for you and your family and are always on hand to help guide your through the preparation and planning, ensuring you of our best attention at all times. We can offer our facilities year-round, catering for 2 – 120 guests. Several menu packages are available as well as an extensive buffet selector.

Choose between our larger, Henry VIII Tudor function Room with full bar and en-suite cloakrooms, The smaller Samuel Pepys Rom with its beautiful high ceiling and wood panelled walls or the bright airy conservatory for smaller, more intimate gatherings.

A large, onsite carpark provides ample free parking for our guests.
