A little bit about me! I love creating, story telling and making life events really special. Living in the beautiful Waveney Valley in Suffolk on the edge of a beautiful ancient green my home provides a perfect space to be inspired to write the stories of the people I meet in my life as a celebrant.
People are at the heart of being a celebrant and it is an honour to celebrate with the many families I have met, from weddings to funerals, each story is as unique as the people I meet.
I have been working with families in different ways all of my career. I started as a nurse, followed by midwifery and Health Visiting, then teaching childcare and my last job was as the CEO of The Hamlet Charity, in Norwich, supporting children and adults with disabilities and complex health needs. I trained with Civil Ceremonies and the Academy of Modern Celebrancy, and started my journey as a celebrant in 2021, and I love it!
