Richmond Athletic Ground, located in the heart of Richmond-upon-Thames, has twenty-six acres of green rugby pitches. Situated less than 10 minutes’ drive from Mortlake cemetery and crematorium, it is ideally located to host your wake to celebrate the life of your loved ones. With ample car parking space, disabled access and Richmond mainline railway station and tube 5 minutes’ walk away, everyone involved can enjoy the day, stress free.

There are two rooms available for hire from £300.00 – the Members’ Bar and the Sports Bar – each with plenty of space to accommodate your party. The venue can be laid out exactly as you wish with sofas and armchairs available as well as tables and chairs. We also have an AV system and projector, fully stocked bar and a range of catering to suit your needs. Prices start from £6.00 per head for afternoon tea with buffet.
