Sandbach Rugby Club

Sandbach Rugby Club is an ideal setting for any wake. Set in the Cheshire countryside, it offers a warm welcome both inside and out. The venue is highly recommended for funeral receptions and wakes near the Sandbach and Middlewich cemeteries, and a short drive from the Crewe crematorium.

Whilst having a large open bar area, we also offer more intimate suite areas that can be closed off for privacy when required. The Clubhouse has the ability to host up to 180 people, and if needed, the marquee up to a further 200. Our suites can then also be closed off for smaller gatherings, making sure the atmosphere is apt for any wake.

Our food is provided by Symphony Hospitality and is excellent quality at affordable prices. Symphony can cater for any dietary requirements and offer a versatile array of food and buffets.

Our Clubhouse can also offer extra touches, such as scrolling media to download pictures of your loved one, or even a facility to download their favourite playlist for background music.

Our car park is extensive and fully on the flat, so we can offer wheelchair access throughout the club and for larger gatherings, we also have an overflow car park nearby.
