Serena Cavanagh

Hi, I’m Serena Cavanagh and I’m an Independent Funeral Celebrant based in Wirral covering the North-West region.

After many years working in the Charity sector as an Event’s Organiser, Campaigner and Education Worker I decided to change direction and utilise all my transferable skills by training to be a Funeral Celebrant.

I love hearing about people’s lives and loves, each one is different, interesting and so unique.

I love to create a ceremony by listening to family a friend’s precious memories and stories of all the fun and interesting moments and commemorating a life in a truly personal way.

I am still making a positive impact on people’s lives which is deeply rewarding and so very important to me.

When we meet I will listen closely to your wishes, be able to draw on my experiences to create the perfect ceremony which celebrates everything about your loved one including family tributes.

I will work with you to write a bespoke script which shines a light on your loved one’s life story, filling it with their personality, character and humour.
