Susan Mikolajewski

I’m Susan. I’m fortunate enough to live on the edge of Jumbles Country Park in Bradshaw Valley, nr Bolton. I live with my husband Zbigniew and our two grown up children.

Through university and beyond I have always loved being an organiser! Law Society Dinners or a Summer Ball, I’ve always been up for the challenge of creating something memorable -with imagination and flair.

As I approached the end of my career as a Solicitor I thought about other directions which would allow me to continue to write and deliver but in a more enjoyable way.

My sister was due to get married shortly and had decided upon a ceremony at home. A short legal formality was followed by a much more personal ceremony for family and friends written especially and the role of the Celebrant. It was simply stunning and created by the bride just as she had dreamed. At that point the penny dropped, and I thought “I can do that”!

I quickly realised that the role of Celebrant is not just confined to weddings. A Celebrant can add so much more to all manner of celebrations-naming ceremonies, celebrations of life, vow renewals, divorce healing, birthday milestones, house warmings, corporate events, or just to say “thanks”.

The story of your engagement; found out you were pregnant, your wedding day-all of these memories can be woven into a totally bespoke ceremony. Its your journey…your memories…..your story.

I’m full of energy and new ideas to make your ceremony special, but with an eye to the traditional if required. Above all I want your day to be fun and memorable!
