Ideally located just a few miles from the Grenoside and Barnsley crematoriums Wortley Hall is the perfect venue to hold a post funeral reception or wake.

Our bars are great place to have food and drinks in a relaxed environment. The drinks menu offers a wide range such as real ales and a handpicked wine list. The bar follows the same emphasis on good quality and fresh ingredients as the restaurant.

At the ruddy duck our philosophy is to provide customers with an enjoyable and exciting dining experience and have just been awarded the prestigious 2 AA rosettes! We are focused on showcasing the best of Yorkshire and British ingredients, cooked with a modern twist whilst in keeping with classic techniques.

Head chef Matt Robinson wants to share the experience he has gained over the years with his customers, from rosetted boutique hotels to Michelin star restaurants he has learned techniques that help enhance a dish whilst respecting the ingredients he uses.
